Here is a quick tutorial on a popular cadence that I utilize when fishing artificial lures for redfish, snook, trout etc...This simple method has proven time and time again that it's extremely effective. Working the lure in this manner prevents you from retrieving your lure too quickly and portrays a wounded baitfish or a shrimp scurrying off. In many instances I get a strike when the lure lays motionless on the seafloor, so be sure to vary your retrieval speed to see what entices the strike.
