Ingredients Needed:
- 8 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons of flat-leaf parsley, chopped finely
- 1 lemon
- 1 lbs. of shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Parmesan Cheese
- Salt and Pepper (to taste)
- 1 box of wheat linguini Shrimp Scampi
Step 1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the butter in a pan and toss your garlic in the pan. Let the garlic simmer into the butter for about 3 to 5 minutes at Low/Med heat. Then add your parsley to the pan and squeeze the lemon over the succulent sauce.
Step 2. After you have peeled and deveined the shrimp, place the cleaned shrimp into a square glass dish; pour the sauce over the shrimp. Place the shrimp into the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes. You are looking for the shrimp to turn pink or opaque in color. Once opaque, your shrimp is then fully cooked and ready for step three.
Step 3. While the shrimp is cooking, have your water boiling, salt your water and pour your wheat pasta into the pot. Cook approximately 10 minutes until the pasta is andante. Once your shrimp is ready, scoop it on top of the drained linguini and sprinkle on some parmesan cheese. Serve it in a bowl with some warm French baguettes to soak up the goodness. We love this recipe, and it's one of my favorites and a delicious meal indeed.
