Red Chili-pepper honey redfish, tell me that doesn't sound like a dish to get your senses fired up? This recipe is extremely simple and taste great.
Ingredients Needed:
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 5 slices of fresh pickled Ginger (found in your sushi isle)
- 1 teaspoon of Garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons of Honey
- ½ teaspoon of Red Pepper Chili Flakes
- 3 splashes of Coors Light (or your favorite beer)
- Salt and Pepper for taste
- 2 Filets of Red Fish
Step 1. Heat a sauté pan to medium heat and pour ½ of the sesame oil in the pan. While your pan in getting hot, season your fish with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Look for the oil to fizzle and then place the fish in the pan to brown on both sides for about 3 to 4 minutes.
Step 2. In a separate sauté pan, heat the other ½ of the sesame oil, ginger and honey at medium to low heat. Add the red pepper flakes and the Coors Light and whisk, the sauce will start to get thick.
Step 3. Pour the sauce over your fish for a fabulous finish. Sorry about not having a picture, I will take one when I cook this next time and upload it.
